Cross processing is the procedure of deliberately developing film in a chemical solution intended for a different type of film.

I intend to use cars as my subject to get the colors colors to either stand out or possibly change a little bit.

Critique:
  - I like most of the pictures that I have taken. They turned out very nice. The colors turned out wonderful. The photos seem to pop and stand out which I really like.

For a subject I intend to use metal, chrome maybe a building and possibly a flag. You have to keep this fairly simple because you don't want to have to worry about dodging and burning as well as some crazy lighting.

Critique:

- I like both of my solarized prints. I really like the way the motorcycle engine turned out. I don't have a problem with anything in the photo. I also like the solarized flag. It has an interesting effect with the solarization and I like the effect.

Polaroid Transfer

I intend to use graffiti as my subject for polaroid transfers.

Evaluation: 
- I like both of my polaroid transfers. I think the colors of the transfer are good. There was no problem with any of the transfer with either polaroid. I achieved what I wanted. I looked for good colorful graffiti or just graffiti as a subject and got some pretty neat graffiti for my subject matter.

There are Seven Layers. One layer is the light brown and crosses. The next one is the reddish,brown bushes. Then comes the green foliage/bushes. Next layer is the the bottom of the mountain with the light grey. Then the next layer is the mountains. Then the next layer is the mountains. The the next layer is the big white cloud. The following layer is the grey clouds at the top of the photo.

This photograph has five layers. The first layer being the cow and two men in the front. Then the next layer is the the red bucket. Then there is the two men  with the small cow. Then the naxt layer is the man on the horse. The last layer is the clouds and sky. I don't think there is anything distarcting in the photograph.

This photograph has five layers. The first one being the the closet hill and trees. Then the next layer is the flat top of the ground with the light green. Another layer is is the mountain top. Another layer is the mountains in the background and then another is the sky. There isn't anything distracting in this photography.

This photograph has about five layers. The first being the water or ocean. Then the second is the whales. The third layer being the mountain range. Then the Yellow sky. Then the last layer being the clouds at the top. The whole photo ties together. The subject is the whales but everything is brought together to make the photo better.

Evaluation:

- I like my sky photo. It took awhile to achieve the sky and the whole photo to what I was looking for. The mountains in the photo are a litttle dark but with the dodge and burning process it wasn't easy to keep everything perfect. My other photo is alright too. I should have burned the sky in some more to give it more detail. But over all the photo is decent.

3200 Film

I chose these two photgraphs becasue of the craftmanship and the subjects. Usually when there is a photo of graves or cemetaries it feels dark and sad, with this photo the light adds so much to the photo. The cob webb also adds to the effect of the photo. I like the wedding photo becasue of where the photo was taken. The photographer wasn't to close and he wansn't too far away. The grainy feel makes the photo to me. The photo seems better with the grain. I like the grain in higher speed film. The grain just seems to add one more thing to a photograph. I liked most of my uses of lighting. Sometimes it was a little hard to get enough light but my final two prints came out pretty good. I think I can improve a roll of 3200 by having different lighting situations and different subjects now that I have shot with it once.

Michael Gray- Graves photo

First Roll

My first roll of film started off hard. It just took a little while to get back into the grove; however, there wasnt any problems once I got started. With the first photograph of berries I wanted to try and have some berries out of focus and some in focus. I wanted to create a line of berries but it didn't come out the way I wanted it to. My second photograph was of  some wood I found. I didn't really have an idea of how to shoot the piece of wood. I just kind of liked to feel and look of it once I got into the darkroom I liked it. I felt comfortable using filters and doding and burning because it was pretty simple with these photos.
